2025 marks the 20th anniversary of The Kyoto Connection, and what better way to celebrate this incredible milestone than by embarking on a journey we’ve dreamed of since the beginning? After nearly two decades of creating music inspired by Japan without ever setting foot there, we’re thrilled to announce the Japan Tour ’25!
This tour wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of over 400 supporters from around the world who have contributed to our project between 2008 and today. Your belief in our vision has been instrumental in turning this lifelong dream into a reality.
📍Where We’re Going
Our Japan Tour will take us across some of the country’s most iconic locations, including:
- Tokyo
- Hakone and Mount Fuji
- Hiroshima and Miyajima
- Kyoto
- Osaka and Kanazawa
- Okinawa

Our journey will be more than sightseeing – it’s about creating and sharing. Here’s what we have planned:
- Musical Performances: Sharing our music in live settings across the country.
- Collaborations: Partnering with local artists to blend our sounds and create something new.
- Video clip at Kyoto: Filming a music video that embodies the spirit of our 20-year journey.
- Soundscape and video recordings: Capturing every moment to produce a rich visual and auditory diary for our future productions.
- Workshops and Talks: Sharing our experience as independent musicians and our creative philosophy with those we meet along the way.
