KYOTO SOUND LOGO

One of the things that fascinates me about Japan is the integration of sound design into its culture. From cash registers to cities, everything has a sound logo that identifies and brings it to life.
A few days ago, I was listening to Kamakura’s sound logo composed by Hiroshi Yoshimura (from the album Four Post Cards, 2004), and upon investigation, I discovered that Kyoto doesn’t have a sound logo!
So, I decided to create one.
Here’s a little prototype. It needs work, but it’s something. It would be great to hear it someday at the station, on the tower, or in some public space in that city
